- •Session recordings (via Microsoft Clarity — anonymised)

- •To assign a verified professional near your location
- •To send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates via SMS/WhatsApp
- •To process payments securely via Razorpay
- •To respond to customer support queries
- •To improve platform performance and user experience
- •To send occasional promotional offers (you can opt out anytime)
3Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with:
- •Assigned professionals — your name, address, and phone (masked) for service delivery
- •Razorpay — for secure payment processing (governed by Razorpay's privacy policy)
- •Exotel — for call masking and SMS delivery (your real number is never shared with professionals)
- •Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity — anonymised usage data for platform improvement
- •Supabase — our backend database provider, operating under EU-standard data protection
4Call Masking & Phone Privacy
When a professional calls you through InstaFix, your real phone number is masked via Exotel's call masking service. The professional sees only a virtual number. Your actual mobile number is never shared with any professional.
5Data Retention
- •Booking data is retained for 3 years for warranty and dispute resolution purposes.
- •Account data is retained until you request deletion.
- •Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law.
- •Analytics data (Google Analytics) is retained for 14 months.
6Your Rights
You have the right to:
- •Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- •Request correction of inaccurate data
- •Request deletion of your account and associated data
- •Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- •Withdraw consent for data processing (may affect service availability)

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Supabase Row Level Security (RLS), and Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant payment infrastructure. While we take all reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
